Will the Rapture take place in 2011 or 2012?
What does the Bible really teach us about the Rapture and when will it happen?
Being a Christian is all about having faith, and the information here on this web site is very creditable and not in any way just some fantasy of a deluded man, if you will read my pages with an open mind and with faith in Jesus Christ and his ability to keep his promise to his people you will see that the time is right for the Rapture, however remember the saying "For those who believe, no proof is necessary. For those who don't believe, no proof is possible."
Also it should be noted that I am a "watchman" I wait and watch, I expect nothing I just watch for the right time for the return of Jesus because he made that promise to us that he will return so that's why I watch, it is my job to sound the alert when I see that the time is right and I invite you to be a watcher with me however if you are one of those people that gets upset when thing don't your way then it might be better to not be a watcher. Being a watcher is all about faith and patience and being faithful to the end.
"But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood
will I require at the watchman's hand." Ezekiel 33:6
Those pesky positions. They are known as PRE-TRIBULATIONAL, MID-TRIBULATIONAL, AND -POST-TRIBULATIONAL.
Briefly, this is what each holds to:
1. Pre-trib….rapture of the Church before the tribulation begins. This means the rapture will occur before the 70th week of Daniel's prophecy which contains a total of 2,595 days, consisting of two
periods of 1,260 days plus 75 days additional found in the 12th chapter of Daniel. This position makes the rapture occur BEFORE any part of the 70th week.
2. Mid trib…rapture of the Church at the mid point of the first 2,520 days of the 70th week not including the 75 days found in Daniel 12. This is co-incidental with the rise of the man of sin, the
abomination that makes desolate in Jerusalem.
3. Post trib…the rapture occurs when Jesus comes back as King of Kings and
Lord of Lords. This makes the Church go through all of the 70th week of Daniel including the so-called GREAT tribulation, which is the second half of the 70th week of Daniel. This second part is
also called "The Wrath of God".
The third position really has no merit. I do not at all believe in the post-trib position and I do not believe any of you do either.
But, the first two positions have real arguments favoring each of them. So, the very best answer is that both are correct when mixed together.
The pre-trib position is correct as it is before the GREAT TRIBULATION. Now a word of explanation. The 70th week is divided into two 1,260 day periods, known in Bible circles as the "tribulation" and
the "great tribulation". The first period is a gradual but sincere build-up to the second, which is called the "Wrath of God", as opposed to the first being "tribulation". No one can stand, obviously,
in the time of the Wrath of God Almighty, because God says they cannot. It is an awful time, and it is apparently upon us this very hour.
“Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.”
Are you watching? Do you really want Christ to retuen more then anything else? Are you ready to say goodbye to this world and go be with him forever?
If you are unsaved, or in a lukewarm, or backslidden spiritual condition, you need to call out to the Lord and repent before it is eternally too late. Your time to get your heart right before the Lord,
is quickly drawing to a close now. Pray this prayer, and mean it in your heart.
"Dear Lord, I know that I am a sinner. I believe in my heart that you died on the cross for my sins. Right now, I repent of my sins and turn towards you, Lord. Give me power and victory over my sins.
It is my sincere desire to serve you from this day forward. Show me what I must do to be prepared for Your Soon Return, and give me the power from Your Holy Spirit to do it. Thank you, Lord, for saving
me. In the name of our soon-coming Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, Amen."
The Message
The bottom line message of the signs is that we are living on borrowed time. And the crucial question for every human being is: Are you ready for the return of Jesus; will
He come as your Blessed Hope or your Holy Terror?
It will be one or the other, for God is determined to deal with sin, and He does so with either grace or wrath:
John 3:36
If you have put your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, then you are under God's grace. Your sins have been forgiven and forgotten, and you can look forward with
confidence to that glorious day when Jesus will appear in the heavens and call us home in the Rapture.
But if you have not received Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you are under the wrath of God, and you have nothing to look forward to except the terror of His wrath.
Are you ready for the Rapture? The only way to be ready is to be born again in Christ and live the true Christian life.
The fact is people die every day. On average one person dies every 11 seconds and most of them die without any warning.
So the main question you should be asking yourself is if I die right now would I go to heaven or hell?

I am personally expecting the Lord to come through Heaven’s “open door” and rescue [rapture] His people [true believers] sometime in 2011 or 2012.
READY OR NOT HE IS COMING!
STAY ALERT
Revelation 3:10-11 -- Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. 11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
1 Thessalonians 4: 16-17 -- For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we
which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
1 Thessalonians 5:1-10 -- But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. 2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. 4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that
day should overtake you as a thief. 5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. 6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others;
but let us watch and be sober. 7 For they that sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. 8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and
for an helmet, the hope of salvation. 9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, 10 who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live
together with him.
Philippians 3:20-21 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: 21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious
body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
Matthew 25:1-13 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. 2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: 4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. 7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. 8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of
your oil; for our lamps are gone out. 9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. 11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open
to us. 12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. 13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
The question you ask should not be when will the rapture happen but will I be taken when it does happen?
The Difference in those taken and those that will not be taken in the rapture.
Luke 21:36
Are You WORTHY to ESCAPE?
In Luke 21: 25--28, Jesus speaks to us, the end-time watchers, "And there SHALL BE SIGNS in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the
sea and waves roaring; Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son
of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things BEGIN to come to pass, THEN LOOK UP, AND LIFT UP YOUR HEADS; FOR YOU REDEMPTION DRAWETH NIGH."
Jesus said, “If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee
as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee”
(Revelation 3:3). He is obviously saying that to the one who watches, He
will not come as a thief and that person will know the hour! (Hour --
Greek hora -- Strong’s 5610; various meanings, including, “any
definite time, point of time, moment.”
Major signs were was the miraculous rebirth of the nation of Israel in
1948 and the capture of Jerusalem and the Temple Mount in the miracle
Six-Day War in 1967.
Some claim we should focus only on the Great Commission and evangelism
and not be concerned when the Lord will return. However, the Bible
repeatedly tells us to “watch” for the signs, so not doing so would be
disobedient. Also, those who are watching and expecting Jesus’ soon
return are probably the most zealous group of witnesses for the gospel
among all Christians.
Doubters may mention Paul's words that the day of the Lord will come like
"a thief in the night" (1 Thessalonians 5:2). But many
believers have so misunderstood these verses that they are oblivious to
the times, and are often absorbed by the cares of this world and their
own agendas.
It is clear that Jesus will not come as a "thief in the night"
for watchful believers, because in the very same passage, verse 4, Paul
tells us, "But you, brothers, are not in darkness so that this day
should surprise you like a thief." If we are trusting in Christ and
looking for His coming, Paul said that even the very day does not have to
surprise us!
Also, Jesus exhorted, "If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will
come on thee as a thief" (Revelation 3:3, KJV), obviously saying He
will come as a thief only to those not watching! It is obvious that
for those watching, He will NOT come as a thief.
Jesus rebuked those who did not understand the signs of the times in His
day: "O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky, but can
ye not discern the signs of the times" (Matthew 16:3).
Of the end of the age, Jesus said, "And when these things begin to
come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption
draweth nigh"(Luke 21:28). He said we would know when it is near!
God said, "Surely the sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing
it to His servants the prophets" (Amos 3:7, NIV). God said
"nothing," and He did not exclude Christ's return. Take Him at
His word.
God not only knows the end from the beginning, He tells us that He makes
it known! "I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient
times, what is still to come." (Isaiah 46:10). He has already made
it known! I personally believe it has been hidden in His Word all along,
to be unlocked in His timing. There is nothing wrong with
seeking! No doubt, it pleases God.
God said, "I have even from the beginning declared it to thee;
before it came to pass I shewed it thee" (Isaiah 48:5,
KJV).
Jesus said the Holy Spirit "will teach you all things" (John
14:26). He said "all things." Did Jesus make a mistake,
forgetting to exclude when He will return?
Friends confide in one another. Abraham was called God’s “friend”
(Isaiah 41:8; James 2:23). “And the LORD said, Shall I hide from
Abraham that thing which I do” (Genesis 18:17). Now, because of
Jesus’ atonement, we are called friends of God: “I no longer call you
servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead,
I have called you friends” (Jesus, John 15:15). The Bible also says
that Jesus was crucified so that the blessing of Abraham, part of which
was friendship with God, would come upon the Gentiles -- us (Galatians
3:14).
Ecclesiastes 1:9 says “What has been will be again, what has been done
will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun” (NIV). Many
Bible students believe that ancient events and dating in the Bible are
shadows and clues that foretell the coming of the Lord, even the
timing. An example is the six days of creation, seen as 6,000 years
of man’s dominion over the earth, before the return of the Lord and the
seventh, or Sabbath Millennium of peace, with Christ ruling in
Jerusalem. According to scholars, we are now at the end of 6,000
years since Adam
There are other such passages. God clearly promised that we would know at
least approximately when Christ will return, and even "the day"
will not surprise those watching, as the Holy Spirit reveals to us
through Paul!
He gave Noah advance notice of when the flood would be (Genesis 6,7).
He told Abraham how long the Israelites would be in Egypt (Genesis
15:13).
He revealed to many the very day of Elijah's rapture (2 Kings 2).
He told Jeremiah how long the Babylonian exile would be (Jeremiah 29:10).
He told Daniel exactly when Messiah would come the first time (Daniel
9:25-26).
Some, including the brilliant Sir Isaac Newton, believe this same passage
holds the key to the timing of His return.
There is evidence that the Bible reveals the exact number of years of
"the times of the Gentiles" and the exact span of time to
Israel's rebirth in 1948 and the recapture of Jerusalem in 1967.
Obviously, leaving us clueless now would violate God's own established
pattern as revealed in His Word!
Also obviously, we are not left clueless. There are many
signs. Let us remain watchful and ready, and be found doing the
Master’s work.
Harold Camping may have been wrong a second time, but someday somebody
will get it right!
He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
