I have received a lot of emails from concerned Christians about Barack Hussein Obama. They all want to know the same thing, is Barack Obama the Antichrist?

No I do not believe he is the Antichrist; I think he is more likely to be some type of forerunner of the antichrist.

Islam it is a religion of beheading, terrorism, and bloody torture. It is a religion that declares that "God has no son!" As we see this religion rise in power everywhere, we must also remember that there is a man in the United States, who was brought up from his youth in this religion, and he is now the President of the United States.

With all of the deceptive words of Barack Hussein Obama it's clear that inside him beats the heart of a Muslim. America has gone so far that they would elect him. Put his name next to that of Washington, Adams, Jefferson, Lincoln, Monroe, and so on, and something seems horribly wrong. This is a sure sign that we are in fact living in the end times!

However, I am not looking for the Antichrist, I am looking for the wonderful hope and appearing of Lord Jesus Christ! That's where my eyes are watching.

Why do I think Barack Hussein Obama is a forerunner of the antichrist?

I believe that Obama may well turn out to be the "raiser of taxes" in the book of Daniel

Daniel 11:20
Then shall stand up in his estate a raiser of taxes in the glory of the kingdom: but within few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle.

Obama' message of "change" will turn out to be true... I think America will be seeing much change, but not the change many may have had in mind. I also believe America will see itself turned over to a "one world order" and become a country no longer blessed by almighty God.

Within just his first 100 days in office, he is already showing himself to be the biggest raiser of taxes in U.S. history, both by newly formulated taxes that he has planned, hiking current taxes on different things, and by eliminating many past tax exemptions, that will tend to increase most everybody's general tax burden from what it has been, which also will mean fewer tax refunds.. Barack Hussein Obama was born on 8/04/1962.

The Assyrian

I realize that many (or most) Christians have pegged Obama as the Antichrist. But I simply cannot get him past one major criteria for the man – the Antichrist must be an Assyrian.

The Bible provides us with the geo-political-racial identity for the Antichrist. He is called the Assyrian. See Isaiah 14:24; Micah 5:5-9.

God wants His people to be able to identify the Antichrist. When He says Assyrian, He means Assyrian. (The boundaries of ancient Assyria include modern Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Iran, Jordan, and portions of Turkey.)

It is not enough to say that the Antichrist may have had descendants from Assyria. If you go back far enough, all of our descendants came from that area of the world (i.e. the fertile crescent). Does that make any of us Assyrians? It is also not enough to say that he may eventually rule Assyria. Alexander the Great conquered the known world, including Assyria. But, do we call him an Assyrian because of that? No, he remains a Greek.

When God identified Bethlehem as the birthplace of the Messiah, He meant Bethlehem. (Micah 5:2.) Not somewhere close to Bethlehem. Nor was it good enough for the Messiah to have some descendents from Bethlehem. He himself had to come out of Bethlehem. God means what he says.

I don't know how else one can be an Assyrian other than being born one.

Now, we are told that there will be many antichrists. See 1 John 2:18. So, I am not surprised that there have been many people, including Obama, who have the earmarks of the Antichrist. But, there will only be one (capital "A") Antichrist. And his geo-political-racial identifier is Assyrian.

Jesus had his forerunner in John the Baptist, and Obama may very well be the forerunner of the antichrist. Watch the video below from JR Church he makes some good points on why Obama may be just a forerunner on the antichrist.

If he is a forerunner of the real antichrist; then he is like "John the Baptist' was to Jesus Christ.

John the Baptist was born about six month before Jesus Christ so it makes sense that the antichrist' forerunner would be born about six months before him.

Who is the Mahdi? There is one man that stick out from the rest; Abdullah II ibn al-Hussein of Jordan or is it the Iranian president Mahmood Ahmadinejad . King Abdullah II ibn al-Hussein of Jordan was born on January 30, 1962. King Abdullah II is the current King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. He ascended the throne on 7 February 1999 after the death of his father King Hussein. King Abdullah is a member of the Hashemite family and is reportedly a 43rd-generation direct descendant of Prophet Muhammad. King Abdullah II is born six months prior to Barack Hussein Obama; is that a coincidence that it is just like John the Baptist being born six months prior to Jesus Christ? Is King Abudullah II is the Mahdi (Antichrist)? If I had to make a guess as to who the antichrist will be I would go with him.

You are probably asking now, "What is a Mahdi"? In Islamic eschatology, the Mahdi is the prophesied redeemer of Islam, who will change the world into a perfect Islamic society before the end of times. To be more technical, a religious term Mahdaviat which is derived from mahdi, Arabic for "rightly-guided one," a major figure in Islamic eschatology. He is, explains the Encyclopaedia of Islam, "the restorer of religion and justice who will rule before the end of the world." The concept originated in the earliest years of Islam and, over time, became particularly identified with the Shi'ite branch. Whereas "it never became an essential part of Sunni religious doctrine," continues the encyclopedia, "Belief in the coming of the Mahdi of the Family of the Prophet became a central aspect of the faith in radical Shi'ism," where it is also known as the return of the Twelfth Imam. The word is a cognate of Anti, and Christ. Anti means "false", and Christ means "deliverer". So the word means "false deliverer". What about the Mahdi, it is another misunderstood word as well and has been sought out over generations of who is the Mahdi? So who is the Mahdi, we will leave that up to you to decide. The Jews didn't accept Jesus as their deliverer in His time, because of the way Isaiah 61, verse 2 is read and understood by the Jews.

This is another reason not to be so closed minded and believe what everyone believes because almost all the Jews didn't believe that Jesus was the son of God and they have been paying for that blind false belief for almost 2000 years. Just as the Jews didn't accept Jesus as their Lord Savior 2000 years ago are they going to believe in the Mahdi as a human man is their Messiah. The old adage "Seeing is Believing" but is that true, you can believe and have faith in someone or something without seeing it first. Remember this when the rapture comes and you miss it because of you lack of faith to believe in what you cannot see, and then the Anti-Christ takes over the world as the one supreme ruler.

Let us look at the big picture and from a different perspective; Barack Hussein Obama is the 44th President of the United States of America. Obama was born August 4, 1961. Obama is the first African American to hold the office. Here are some of the decisions made by Barack Hussein Obama since his inauguration in office as the President of the United States of America on January 20, 2009. Just a few days in office, Obama issued executive orders and presidential memoranda reversing President Bush's ban on federal funding to foreign establishments that allow abortions. He also changed procedures to promote disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act, directed the U.S. military to develop plans to withdraw troops from Iraq, and reduced the secrecy given to presidential records.

Obama also issued the closing of Guantanamo Bay detention camp "as soon as practicable as and no later than" January 2010. On February 17, 2009, Obama signed into law a $787 billion economic stimulus package and stated in his remarks the intended goal was to ameliorate the effects of the recession. On February 27, 2009, Obama declared that combat operations will end in Iraq within 18 months. "Let me say this as plainly as I can: By August 31, 2010, our combat mission in Iraq will end," Obama told Marines preparing to deploy to Afghanistan.

It is very possible that the Antichrist will be socialistic in his economic viewpoints and that he will inspire a quick prosperity for the entire world through this immoral and deceitful method. This could be one of the reasons why Daniel predicted that the Antichrist will cause fraud and deceit to prosper. Daniel 8:25. If the world comes united economically through a global economic system and economic transactions are standardized into one monetary unit then all that would be required to effect massive transfers of wealth would be the creation of new credit money in centralized computers---a cashless society where all legal buying and selling is transacted through one system. It is just making it easier for the Antichrist to rule the whole world. (I think Obama is going to be that frontrunner to put all the plans in motion so it will make it easier for the Antichrist to control everything and everyone.)

Most people believe that Obama is the Antichrist but the evidences points to him as just the forerunner for the Antichrist putting everything together and in motion for the Antichrist to rule the world. Obama is putting together a one world order and one world currency system.

Obama is believed to be a man of Peace because he is the man to put into action the plan for one world peace. Obama is promising peace in Iraq. Obama says he is a Christian but in fact he is a born a Muslim and still practices the Islamic religion (which he prays Friday's facing Mecca). Obama has come to deceive almost everyone following his reign of presidency and has become the most powerful man on earth. Obama has set plans in motion to destroy the Jewish people and Israel by breaking friendship with their nation. Obama says he loves the Arabs especially the Palestinians and hates Israel and the Jews. Obama present himself as good and righteous but he is working for the Antichrist; violence and destruction is in the heart of Obama. Obama has a lot of negative facts about him and he is constantly making more enemies because of his plans of a one world order---he is working for the Antichrist. A forerunner is one that precedes, as in time a predecessor; one that comes before and indicates the approach of another; a harbinger. I believe there is a good case here that Obama is the forerunner for the Antichrist.
