Frequently Asked Questions
Q - What will happen to preachers that teach false doctrine?
A - I think that it depends on why they teach false doctrien.
If they teach lies because of their own ignorance and they really believe that what they are teaching is the truth then God might forgive them but they may lose their some or all of their rewards.
If however they are teaching lies because they want to get their flock to give more money or they are on some kind of power trip then woe be on to them they will have a home in hell forever.
2 Peter 2:1,3-7,9-10,12-14,17
But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will ...bring on themselves swift destruction.... for a long time
their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber. For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into
chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment; and did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood
on the world of the ungodly; and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those who afterward would live
ungodly; and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked....then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve
the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment, and especially those who walk according to the flesh in the lust of uncleanness and despise authority.
They are presumptuous, self-willed. They are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries....But these, like natural brute beasts made to be caught and destroyed, speak evil of the things they do not understand, and will utterly perish in their own corruption, and will receive the wages of unrighteousness, as those who count it pleasure to carouse in the daytime. They are spots and blemishes, carousing in their own deceptions while they feast with you, having eyes full of adultery and that cannot cease from sin, enticing unstable souls. They have a heart trained in covetous practices, and are accursed children....These are wells without water, clouds carried by a tempest, for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.
Jesus compared the religious people and the false teachers of his day to dogs and pigs. He warned about not casting your pearls before the pigs. He wasn't talking about literal, physical pigs. He was talking about false teachers. Paul said in Philippians 3:2, "Beware of the dogs..." He wasn't talking about the scavenger dogs of the Mid-East. He was talking about false teachers. He goes on in the context to make that clear. In Revelation 22:15 we are told of the new Jerusalem, the dwelling place of the saints. Outside will be the dogs. Peter has used the analogy already in verse 12 of this chapter. They are like unreasoning animals. It's not a pretty picture. This unfolding of false teachers was not meant to be a pretty picture. Somehow it seems out of place in our cultured, accepting, tolerant environment today. It even seems out of place in the professing church of Jesus Christ. We ought to be able to get along. We ought to be able to find points of agreement. False teachers are just marching through, luring people after themselves. a weak, tolerant ministry finds ways to get along with them. I expose them for what they are, DOGS.
So when you hear a preacher or anybody for that matter teaching things like "a gay lifestyle is ok" or "abortion is not murder" or "there's only one God and there's many ways to find him and go to heaven" or even those that teach that "there will be no rapture" or that "the rapture will happen after the tribulation" and they teach God will force his own people to stay here on earth for seven years of hell on earth, these people that teach these lies are false teachers they are "dogs and pigs" and should be treated as such. So don't tell me your pastor is a good man he just don't teach these things, if he was in fact a good mad he will know he is commanded by God to teach these things and he would do so.
Let me say this again if your pastor does not teach the end times are here and you need to be ready for the pre tribulation rapture or risk being left behind then he is NOT someone you need to be listening to. Do yourself a favor and find a real pastor or suffer his fate with him. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
God bless you all.
