Q - Do we go to Heaven when we die?

A - Yes and No, we go to a heavenly place.

It does not make any sense that when Christians die that they go to heaven and live for up to 2000 years or more and then return to be judged and rewarded does it? The truth is NOONE goes to the third heaven when they die (That's where God dwells).

John 3:13
No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven.

All born again Christians go into a place called "Abraham's Bosom"

Luke 16:22-23
And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

Now the word Hell used here in verse 23 is not talking about the bottomless pit or the lake of fire, it's another place many call Hades. As you can see from verse 23 the rich man can see the beggar in Abraham's Bosom so the two places are not that far apart.

The dead in Christ are in Spirit form now and they will stay that way until someday when God will raise them from the dead, when this happens they will be in a sense be born a second time into a new glorified body like onto the angels, at that same time or shortly thereafter we who are alive and are true Christians will be changed into our new glorified bodies that are like onto the angels.

So when you hear thing like "He or She is with God now or they are an Angel now" this is not true we will never be Angels we are above the Angels and we won't go to God when we die.

The Bible says "The truth will set you free" lets believe the truth not lies or things that are made up!
