The year 2012 is only 3˝ years from now! It is a year fraught with meaning and prophetic importance. The course of world events and global troubles seems to have suddenly picked up speed and accelerated. The die is cast, plunging us toward a date with destiny - a great upheaval and cosmic reckoning. What can we expect? What lies ahead?
As world troubles seem to escalate on every side, mankind is poised on the brink of famine, soaring food prices, shortages, incredible violence, and the growing threat of World War III.
With Barack Hussein Obama as the new president of the United States, how near is the end of this age? Will Obama close all Churches in America that do not conform to the New World Order (NWO)? This NWO may well lead to a one world religion, (the religion of Islam), one world currency (the Mark of the Beast), and a one world leader (the Antichrist). This new society will be one of socialism where Christians will be beheaded for their faith in Christ.
Is this the time prophets in the Bible foretold of? Is "Doomsday" just around the corner? I believe it is.
Prophet after prophet in the Bible warns us of a very specific period of time referred to by many names; the Day of the Lord's Wrath, the Time of Israel's (Jacob's) Trouble, the Great Tribulation, the Apocalypse, and Armageddon. Is this set to begin December 21st, 2012 - or maybe even mid 2009?
Will December 21st, 2012 be the midpoint of the 7 years of tribulation written of in the Holy Bible?
Scientific experts from around the world are genuinely predicting that in 2012, all life on Earth could well finish. Some are saying it'll be humans that set it off. Others believe that a natural phenomenon will be the cause.
Those of us who study Bible prophecy are convinced as well.

Sir Isaac Newton, who lived some 300 years ago (1642-1727), was one of the great geniuses, with perhaps the highest I.Q of anyone in history. He is called "the father of modern science" and "the father of the industrial revolution." He discovered many scientific laws. God chose Isaac Newton to impart many of His deepest secrets and riddles.
Newton was a devout believer in Christ and a Bible scholar. He was fluent in ancient languages and translated directly from the Hebrew and Greek. He was unusually drawn to the prophet Daniel, which he began studying at age 12 and continued until he died at age 85. In fact, The Columbia History of the World, a secular history book, remarks, "At the end of his days he spent more time studying and writing about the prophecies in the Book of Daniel than he did in charting the heavens." Apparently, God Himself put in Newton's heart this burning desire to study Daniel, then gave him the key to the timing of Christ's return.
In about 550 BC, God gave the prophet Daniel a view of history from then until the end. Newton's understanding of one key passage in Daniel chapter 9 is fundamentally different from that of most common interpretations.
In Daniel 9:25, scholars usually add the "seven weeks (of years, or 49 years) and 62 weeks (434 years)" together to get 483 years, and calculate the time of the Messiah's First Coming. However, Newton said there is no linguistic basis for adding those two numbers (49 and 434), and to do so is "doing violence to the language of Daniel."
Newton said the two numbers speak separately of both the First and Second Coming, both being counted from the "going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem." Some commentators agree.
Newton said the "62 weeks" (434 years) part was fulfilled at the First Coming, and the "seven weeks" (49 years) part will apply to the Second Coming.
If we start this 49 year countdown from June 7th, 1967, when Israel captured Jerusalem and the Temple Mount, we arrive at June 7th, 2016! Now remember, he was talking about the Second Coming of Christ and the end of the Tribulation - not the Rapture)
If we backtrack 7 years from June 7th, 2016 then we come to June 7, 2009 for the start of the Tribulation.
The date period for the start of the Tribulation that I have already come up with from other sources is between May 21st and June 21st, 2009. So as you can see, this coincides with the date calculation Sir Isaac Newton stated almost 300 years ago. Again, I will say here is yet another source of information that shows the end of 2012 as the midpoint of the Tribulation.
Among the first to predict 2012 as the end of the world were the Mayans; a race that was skilled at building highly accurate astrological equipment out of stone. Thousands of years ago they managed to calculate the length of the lunar moon as 329.53020 days, only 34 seconds out. The Mayan calendar predicts that the Earth will end on December 21st, 2012. Given that they were pretty close to the mark with the lunar cycle, it's likely they've got the end of the world right as well.
There has been a great deal of talk about the supposed doomsday prediction of December 21st, 2012 as it is reflected in the Mayan long calendar. Most of the ancient Mayan codices were burned by Spanish monks in 1521 as works of the devil. A few survived including the so called Dresden Codex. This 74 page codex written on tree bark, and apparently from the famous Mayan temple and observatory at Chichen Itza, was sent by Cortes to Emperor Charles V in 1519. It found its way to the Royal Library at the Court of Saxony in Dresden where it was purchased from a private collector by Johann Christian Goetze. While it was damaged by the fire bombing of Dresden during WWII, much has survived.
From the Dresden Codex, which was written between 1200 and 1250 AD, numerous astronomical and calendar data points were found including information on eclipses, the transit of the planet Venus as well as information on the motion of the moon, stars, and the sun. It has been determined by research scholars that the Mayan Long Count calendar ends on 13.0.0.0.0 which equates to our date of December 21st, 2012 at 10AM GMT. On that day it has been surmised the "end" will come.
According to the Mayan calendar, we are now living in the Mayan "end times." The Great Cycle of the Mayan Long Count calendar ends at the winter solstice in 2012 AD, just under four years from now (from January 2009).
In Mayan mythology, the winter solstice sun corresponds to the deity known as One Hunahpu, or "First Father." The dark rift of the Milky Way, in Mayan cosmology, is known as the "Black Road," the mouth of the Cosmic Monster, and the birth canal of the Cosmic Mother.
The Mayan calendar has a Great Cycle, ending 13 "bactuns" or a period of 5,125 years. To the ancient Mayans, this conjunction of the sun and Milky Way center or midpoint will occur on the winter solstice, December 21st, in 2012 AD. This date represents a major transition point, the creation of a new World Age.
The Mayan Long Count calendar is strikingly different from the Roman calendar, or any other for that matter. A "month" is 20 days, and 18 months in a year of 360 days. Twenty 360 day years comprise a "katun," and a "baktun" is 20 katun, equaling 144,000 days.
The number 144,000 is very interesting, as it is the number of the "firstfruits" redeemed to God at the coming of the Messiah (Revelations 14:1-4). "Firstfruits" is also the day the dead in Christ will rise according to the apostle Paul.
Authorities agree that the Mayan Long Count calendar began on August 11th, 3114 BC (Gregorian calendar). Why it begins at this date is anybody's guess. This would have been during the life of the prophet Enoch, who was born in 3545 BC. He lived for 365 years before he "was taken," in 3180 BC. Methuselah was born in 3480 BC and lived for 969 years. So the Mayan calendar begins 76 years after Enoch disappeared (was taken to a place of safety from his many enemies), and 376 years after Methuselah was born.
In Mayan chronology, 3114 BC is written as 13.0.0.0.0. When the cycle or age is complete, in December 2012 AD, the date will once again be written 13.0.0.0.0 - a complete cycle of 13 baktuns. That date will also complete the end of a katun cycle of 20 years. The last katun of this age began in 1992 and will finish in 2012. The Mayan "glyph" of this katun is "storm" followed by "sun" - a period of darkness, followed by one of light.
Note that in esoteric tradition, the number "13" represents Christ, the Messiah! There were twelve disciples; Jesus as the Christ was "13." The number "13" also denotes superabundance - the "baker's dozen."
Is there any significance to this? The Mayan calendar is obviously pre-Flood because it is based on a 360-day year which was pre-Flood. Enoch was a scribe of the Lord, who wrote the book of Enoch, which contains much celestial and calendrical material, as well as prophetic warnings and exhortations. It may well be that the Mayan calendar was originally inspired and contains material going back to the pre-Flood patriarchs.
The Long Count calendar began in 3114 BC - during the time of Enoch - and its termination date is 2012 AD, when the cycle will be completed, and a new cycle begins.

The origins of the Mayan calendar are obscured by the mists of time. The Mayas themselves were adept sky watchers. Their classical period is thought to be from 200-900 AD. However, large ruins with Mayan features have been found dating back to before the time of Christ, before the present era began. The Mayans attributed the origin of their incredibly complex calendar system to a people who existed before them, whose origin was lost in the dim past.
Researchers believe that the Mayan calendar actually hinges upon its calculated end point. What is so important about the winter solstice of 2012? The Milky Way seems to have played an important part in Mayan mythology. The Mayan Sacred Tree appears to be the crossing point of the sun's path, the ecliptic, with the Milky Way. The conjunction of the sun with the Milky Way at the winter solstice in 2012 AD appears to have had apocalyptic significance. The crossing of the Milky Way with the ecliptic represents a doorway - pointing both to the sacred source and origin - the finishing of the old and the beginning of a new birth. Thus the world, in 2012, is pictured as being at a celestial "crossroads." To the Mesoamerican Mayas, the approach of the end of a world age - the time when the winter solstice "Doorway" opened up the Sacred Tree to the Center of the Milky Way and the Heart of the Sky - was a very significant and epochal time.
The Mayan Long Count was also known to the Yucatan Maya as a "prophecy cycle." A New Age Dawning Students of the Mayan calendar see this as confirmation that we are indeed living in the twilight of this present age and approaching the beginning of a new age - the end of one prophetic cycle and the beginning of a new cycle. The Mayans stated that "time would collapse" at the end of their calendar cycle.
The "collapsing of time" is a mysterious phrase. How would time itself "collapse"? This could refer to ANOTHER GREAT CHANGE IN THE CALENDAR ITSELF!
Today we live in the 4th cycle as recorded by their calendar. It started in 3114 BC and ends 2012. The year 2012 starts the 5th cycle, which they believed would usher in a new period of enlightenment for the world, as the wisdom of the Maya was uplifted in the world. One world cycle ends and another begins is the real message of the calendar.
The planet Venus is set to make a transit across the face of the sun on December 21st, 2012 which happens very infrequently. It did happen recently, however, on June 8th, 2004 which means it will happen again in eight years which is very unusual, but predicted by the Mayans.
According to some astronomers, on December 21st, 2012, our solar system will intersect with the Galactic Equator which only happens every 26,000 years. Since the Mayan calendar began in 3114 BC, they had never experienced anything like this before either. The Mayans called this event the Sacred Tree. This alignment with the center of the galaxy also allows for maximum mass and thus maximum gravity.

This apocalyptic date of December 21st, 2012 is also supposedly found in Hopi myths, the I-Ching, Aztec writings, Egyptian hieroglyphs, Roman Oracles, writing of Seneca Elders, the chief Shaman of the Cherokee Tribe in NC, and even the writings of Nostradamus. The Russian mathematician Sergey Smelyakov of Khartov University taking the constant Phi (1.6180339), the so called Golden Mean or the Fibonacci sequence, and applying it to solar activity and planetary orbits, found that everything seemed to spiral in on itself on December 21st, 2012 implying a time of implosion or point of bifurcation.
Solar experts from around the world who monitor the sun have made a startling discovery: our sun is in a bit of strife. The energy output of the sun is, like most things in nature, cyclic, and it's supposed to be in the middle of a period of relative stability. However, recent solar storms have been bombarding the Earth with so much radiation energy, it's been knocking out power grids and destroying satellites. This activity is predicted to get worse, and calculations suggest it'll reach its deadly peak sometime in 2012.
NASA predicts that a terrific solar storm will hit the earth in 2012 which will be 30-50% greater than anything before. I believe that there has been global warming over the past decades but it is related to sunspot activity on the sun, not carbon dioxide emissions. The sun has gotten hotter and that has affected the earth. A massive solar blast from the sun in 2012 could burn up the earth as could a collision with an asteroid or a comet.
Space storm alert: 90 seconds from catastrophe
They are suggesting September 22, 2012 as a possible date for this devastating space storm. A year later millions of Americans are dead and the nation's infrastructure lies in tatters. The World Bank declares America a developing nation. Europe, Scandinavia, China and Japan are also struggling to recover from the same fateful event - a violent storm, 150 million kilometers away on the surface of the sun.
The article says, "It sounds ridiculous. Surely the sun couldn't create so profound a disaster on Earth. Yet an extraordinary report funded by NASA and issued by the US National Academy of Sciences (NAS) in January this year claims it could do just that."
A date in 2012 is 3, possibly 3 1/2, years before the four rare blood moons on Jewish feast days in 2015, which has prompted much end-time speculation. See (And there will be SIGNS in the Heavens) for more information.
The article comments, "At the moment the sun appears calm. 'We're in the equivalent of an idyllic summer's day. The sun is quiet and benign, the quietest it has been for 100 years,' says Mike Hapgood, who chairs the European Space Agency's space weather team, 'but it could turn the other way.' The next solar maximum is expected in 2012."

The event is described as "When Hell Comes to Earth." Sounds to me like an appropriate and biblical description for the final Tribulation!
Solar activity lowest in nearly 100 years
GREENBELT, Md., April 1 (UPI) -- U.S. solar physicists say the sun is experiencing the least sunspot activity since 1913 and activity is becoming less frequent.
National Aeronautics and Space Administration solar physicist Dean Pesnell at the Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md., said during 2008 there were no sunspots observed on 266 of the year's 366 days -- 73 percent of the year. To find a year with more blank suns, you have to go to 1913, which had 311 spotless days.
That has led some observers to suggest the solar cycle hit bottom last year. But Pesnell says that might not be the case, since, there were no sunspots on 78 of this year's first 90 days -- 87 percent of that period.
In addition, measurements by the Ulysses spacecraft reveal a 20 percent drop in solar wind since the mid-1990s -- the lowest since such measurements began in the 1960s. And NASA says the sun's brightness has dimmed 0.02 percent at visible wavelengths and 6 percent at extreme UV wavelengths since the solar minimum of 1996.
Competing models created by solar physicists disagree on when the solar minimum will end and NASA says that great uncertainty stems from one simple fact: No one fully understands the underlying physics of the sunspot cycle.

Scientists in Europe have been building the world's largest particle accelerator. Basically its a 27km tunnel designed to smash atoms together to find out what makes the Universe tick. However, the mega-gadget has caused serious concern, with some scientists suggesting that it's probably a bad idea to turn it on in the first place. They're predicting all manner of deadly results, including mini black holes. So when this machine is fired up for its first serious experiment in 2012, the world could be crushed into a super-dense blob the size of a basketball.
Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming, USA is famous for its thermal springs and Old Faithful geyser. The reason for this is simple - it's sitting on top of the world's biggest volcano, and geological experts are beginning to get nervous sweats. The Yellowstone volcano has a long cycle of eruptions and we're due for an explosion that will fill the atmosphere with ash, blocking the sun and plunging the Earth into a frozen winter that could last many years. The pressure under the Yellowstone is building steadily and geologists have set 2012 as a likely date for the fireworks.
This one's case of bog-simple mathematics. Physicists at Berkeley University have been crunching the numbers. and they've determined that the Earth is well overdue for a major catastrophic event. Even worse, they're claiming their calculations prove, that we're all going to die, very soon - while also saying their prediction comes with a certainty of 99% - and 2012 just happens to be the best guess as to when it occurs.
We all know the Earth is surrounded by a magnetic field that shields us from most of the sun's radiation. What you might not know is that the magnetic poles we call north and south have a nasty habit of swapping places every so often. Scientists have noted that the poles are drifting apart roughly 20-30kms each year, much faster than ever before, which points to a pole-shift being right around the corner. While the pole shift is underway, the magnetic field is disrupted and will eventually disappear, sometimes for up to 100 years. The result is enough UV outdoors to crisp your skin in seconds, killing everything it touches.
Many believe that the "shortened days" spoken of in the Bible refers to our now 24 hour day being shortened to possibly a 16 hour day due to the inevitable pole shift that may happen on 12/21/2012.
I remember some time back reading about this subject. It was such a scientifically technical article and was quite hard to follow, however I was able to glean from it the understanding that a polar shift would most certainly shorten our 24 hour days. So this could be true.
We read in the book of Acts, the apostle Peter's words of ultimate warning to this End Time generation in which we live. He asserted:
Acts 3:19-21
Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that He may send Jesus Christ [Yeshua Ha Moshiach], who was preached to you before, whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began.
Peter refers to it as "the time of universal restoration that God announced long ago through his holy prophets" (Acts 3:21 - NRSV).
At the end of this age, there will be a "time of refreshing" and "restitution of all things" - which would include the original calendar! Time itself will return to its former and original order. This suggests that once again the orbit of the earth itself will be changed, as the prophet Isaiah implies in Isaiah 24:1,18-20!
The present day calendar, with all its complexities, and confusing fractions seems to reveal a time of great disorder in the cosmos. But it will be replaced with the original true, pure, calendar, where the lunar year and the solar year are in balance and agreement. And all the universe will once again be in harmony and order - called the "restoration of all things" - including time, the planets, their orbits, and the calendar itself!A "new age" is on the horizon. A "new world order" is indeed coming - it is right around the corner! But before that new age appears, in the person of the Messiah who is soon to come to restore order and truth to the world, there is coming a time of universal chaos, disruption, upheaval, and destruction such as the world has never before witnessed - even in the days of the original Exodus from Egypt and the Flood of Noah! Yeshua the Messiah declared it plainly, as did the prophets, from Enoch to Malachi. He declared:

And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearul sights and great signs from heaven [disruption in the cosmos].
Luke 21:25-26
And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of heaven will be shaken.
The prophet Haggai prophesied:
Haggai 2:6-7
For thus says the LORD of hosts: 'Once more (it is a little while) I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land; and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of all nations, and I will fill this [end time] Temple with glory,' says the Lord of hosts.
Another very interesting prophecy is found in the 17th chapter of Isaiah. God tells the prophet:
Isaiah 7:8 - NKJV
In sixty five years, Ephraim will be broken [literally "shattered"], so that it will not be a people.
I have often wondered if this verse has a message for the end times. What is this mysterious 65 years? When would it be counted from?
Interestingly, look what happens if we count 65 years from the birth of the state of Israel, founded in 1947-48. In this case, the 65 years would end in 2012-2013 AD! - just 3 or 4 years from now! Could 2012-2013 be the time and date of Ephraim's - modern America's - military and economic collapse, and final assimilation into the "New World Order" of end-time "Babylon"?
For several years now I have been wondering about 2012 which appears to be a very fundamental date in terms of prophecy and the outcome of world events - and the "end of days". Could this be the year when the Antichrist arises and takes power?
Some are beginning to speculate that 2012 is the year that the Antichrist arises. If that is so, then that might be the middle of the last 7 years of this age, Daniel's 70th week - or the beginning of Daniel's 70th week. Which means that after that year 2012 we would have 3˝ years to go, or perhaps 7 years to go before Christ comes. Or possibly somewhere in between because God may cut the days short.
What is interesting, The Cutting Edge Ministries says that suddenly both Christians and New Age leaders are teaching that the year 2012 might be the year that Antichrist rises. Well, I believe it will be.
This is a very possible scenario and means that the Antichrist could be revealed and assume power only 3 years from this very year (2009)! This "messiah" is going to claim to be the "Christ Consciousness Spirit" that inhabited all the original founders of all the major religions since the dawn of civilization. This New Age Antichrist will make the same claim - but in addition he will claim to be God, using the name that Christ defined himself as - the "I AM."
'Cashless Society by 2012', says Visa chief. 'Paying for goods with notes and coins could be consigned to history within five years', according to the chief executive of Visa Europe. Peter Ayliffe said that, by 2012, using credit and debit cards should be cheaper and more convenient than cash. Some retailers would soon start surcharging customers if they choose to buy products with cash, because of the greater cost of processing these payments… Visa Europe briefed the British Retail Consortium last month on new 'contact less' cards that can be waved in front of a scanner to make small payments.
Many points of prophecy seem to be converging on the year 2012! We must keep our eyes peeled, and stay alert, and WATCH the signs of the times unfold themselves before our very eyes!
Daniel himself heard an angel from heaven:
Dan.12:6-7
How long shall it be to the end of these wonders? ...it shall be for a time, times, and half a time [or 3˝ years]; and when they have made an end of shattering and crushing the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.
When Christ, the Messiah, intervenes to save His people from total extermination and annihilation - then all these things will be completed. As John said:
Revelation 10:6-7 - NKJV
...there should be delay no longer, but in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets.
Daniel also speaks of a "final week" of prophecy, leading up to the coming of the Lord. Speaking of the time of the end, he writes:
Daniel 9:27 - APB
And he [an end-time world leader or 'prince', potentate, tyrant] shall enter into a strong and firm covenant with the many for one week [7 years]. And in the midst of the week he shall cause the remaining sacrifice and offering to cease [for the remaining 3˝ years]; and upon the wing or pinnacle of abominations [shall come] one who makes desolate, until the full determined end is poured out on the desolater.
Three and one half "times" or "years" equals 1260 days in prophetic Biblical language (see Revelation 12:6,14). These two verses equate 1260 with 3˝ - so the whole 7 year period under discussion would be twice that or 2520 days! But in the 12th chapter of Daniel, we also read:
Daniel 12:11
And from the time that the continual burnt offering is taken away and the abomination that makes desolate is set up, there shall be 1,290 days.
This is an extra 30 days! We have 1260 days in the first half of the final 7 year period that ends with cessation of the daily sacrifice and the Abomination of Desolation set up. Plus another 1260 days in the second half of the 7 year week. Plus another 30 days. For a total of 7 years and 30 days. This is 1260 + 1260 + 30 = 2550. What could this mean?
Did you know that according to the Jewish calendar, from the Feast of Trumpets (Yom Teruah) in 2008 until Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) in 2015 is exactly 2,550 days!
Could this mean that this prophecy will be fulfilled in 2015?
But then Daniel is told:
Daniel 12:12
Blessed, happy, fortunate, spiritually prosperous, and to be envied is he who waits expectantly and earnestly (who endures without wavering beyond the period of tribulation] and comes to the 1,335 days!.
Could this pinpoint the time or date of the Messiah's return and arrival?
But there is even more! In the book of Ezekiel we read that the prophet was told to lie upon his side for 390 days as a sign to Israel:

And you, son of man, take a tile and lay it before you, and make upon it a drawing of a city, even Jerusalem. And put siege works against it, build a siege wall against it, and cast up a mound against it; set camps also against it and set battering rams against it round about. Moreover, take a plate of iron and place it for an iron wall between you and the city; and set your face toward it and it shall be besieged, and you shall press the siege against it. This is a sign to the house of Israel! Then [bound as you are] lie upon your left [and north] side to bear symbolically the iniquity of the house of the ten tribes of Israel upon that side. According to the number of days that you shall lie upon it you shall bear their iniquity. For I have laid upon you the years of their iniquity, according to the number of days, 390 days [representing 390 years]; so you shall bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.
This is talking about the times of Israel's punishment! In Leviticus 26, God tells Israel that if they disobey Him and break His covenant, reject His Torah, His laws, and way of life:
Leviticus 26
18 - ...I will chastise and discipline you seven times more for your sins.
21 - ...I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.
24 - ...I will smite you seven times for your sins.
28 - ...I also will chastise you seven times for your sins.
So if you take 390 years of punishment God decreed on Israel, and multiply it by seven times, you come to 2730 years.
390 X 7 = 2730 years! Notice!
Israel was besieged by ancient Assyria beginning in 721-22 BC. If we go forward 2,730 years from that date (inclusively) - guess what? It brings us to 2008-2009, this very year!

If you add Daniel's final 7 years to 2008-2009, it brings us to 2015-2016!!!
On the other hand, notice this! In 718 BC the siege ended, with Israel being deported from the land and carried off into captivity. If you count from 718 BC, then the final year of the 3-year siege, then it brings us to 2012!!!

2012-2013 AD - just over three years from now! Could that year be the mid-point of the final week of years - the mid-point of the last week when the Great Tribulation begins?
Could 2012 be the year of the 'end-time' captivity of end-time Israel after 3 years of economic besiegement? Could the year 2012 be the year of the final beginning of the 3˝ years of the Great Tribulation?
This is something to pray, meditate, and think upon. If this should be true, it means that the Great Tribulation would start in the year 2012, and Daniel's 70th week would start in May or June 2009 just after the Rapture of God's true believers. We may not know the exact day or year but it is interesting to look at these figures, Biblical prophesies, and other prophesies that were given to us for a reason - to give us a clue as to how much time we have left before the end of the age.
Put this together with world news (if we are wise and 'understanding the times' as the sons of Issachar did), study astronomy and the Biblical signs, then we can come to certain approximations. Or dare I say the precise date of the Rapture and all the other things foretold in the prophesies.
As we earnestly and prayerfully study the Bible, God's Word, and pray for understanding, wisdom, discernment, and enlightenment, the results become stark and transparent: no matter how you slice it, there are not very many days left!
So why did I say 2012 in Biblical Prophecy and The Mayan Calendar = The Rapture in 2009?
Long story made short, this article pretty much proves that December 21st, 2012 will be the midpoint of the Tribulation foretold of in the Holy Bible. The Rapture of God's true believers takes place 3˝ years before that date so... this means the Rapture will come before mid 2009!
I don't see that it matters how this world is going to end, the fact is we are going down at warp speed, and we will crash and burn very soon. It's time to hit the eject button and "Be Saved" now before it's too late.
